1. Who We Are
The application is operated by DESCOBRILANÇA LDA, a company registered in Portugal, NIPC 516940503. The company acts as the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR. For any data-related questions, contact us at team@allcountries.online.
2. What We Collect
We collect information in three categories: (a) if you register an account, your email address and technical login timestamps, processed by our authentication provider; (b) if you consent to analytics, usage data such as page views, card views and flips, and clicks on category and difficulty filters, together with a random session identifier stored in your browser and, for signed-in users, your account identifier; and (c) messages sent through the contact form, including your name, email address, and message text. The application does not request payment information.
3. Legal Basis
Account data and correspondence are processed to perform your request and for our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries. Analytics is processed solely on the basis of consent, given through the banner and revocable at any time on the Cookie Policy page. Withdrawing consent stops further collection.
4. The Assistant
The application includes a text assistant for mathematics and logic. Messages you enter are sent to a third-party language-model provider to generate a response. Do not enter personal or confidential information there. We do not use those conversations to train models.
5. How Long We Keep It
Analytics records are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Account data is kept while the account exists. Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain business correspondence.
6. Who Else Sees It
We do not sell data or pass it to advertising networks. Data is processed by subcontractors acting on our behalf: hosting and database services, email delivery service, and the language-model provider for the assistant. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which discloses your IP address to that service.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact us at team@allcountries.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD.
8. Security
Database access is restricted by row-level policies, administrative functions are available only to accounts with the administrator role, and connections are encrypted. No system can guarantee absolute protection.
9. Children
The application is not directed at children under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them without the consent of a parent or guardian. National law sets the age of digital consent at 13 in Portugal, but we apply 16 so that the same rule holds for visitors elsewhere in the European Union. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has registered an account, contact us at team@allcountries.online and we will delete the account and any associated records.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated; changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
